Boys vs. Girls Technology Usage

Do boys and girls use technology differently? I just got finished working on a story about this issue and found that the research on this topic is quite muddled. Do you seen any anecdotal differences between genders when it comes to technology use? Also, how can we tap into any differences to improve the way technology reaches students?
